PERFORMER
Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Sam has played a multitude of musical theatre productions across the state of Connecticut, as well as other productions throughout New England. Sam's first professional theatre credit was at the summer stock of Interlakes Summer Theatre when he was 18 years old. Sam continues to play musical theatre shows, having recently completed a 40-show run of "Bandstand" at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Beyond musical theatre, Sam has played jazz and classical saxophone professionally for 15 years, as a member of various small groups and big bands. Most recently, Sam headlined the concert series "Jazz at the Pavillion," at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford, Connecticut, where they played multiple concerts in jazz duo and quartet settings. Sam is currently the altoist for the New England Saxophone Quartet, and a member of Connecticut-based rock collective The 860.
Sam has played with a number of world-renowned musicians including Steve Davis, Peter Erskine, Ron Blake, Tia Fuller, Greg Piccolo, Martin Piecuch, Charlie Lewis, and Tony Davis.
